Over the past few months, Linton Netball Club have taken part in a couple of different social activities.
We had our Christmas meal, held at The Black Bull in Balsham, on Saturday 14th December 2019. We all sat down for a 3 course meal and enjoyed all the festivities The Black Bull had for us! Everyone had a lovely evening, filled with lots of food, washed down with many drinks and laughs. We thank The Black Bull for their hospitality and we hope to return soon.
Additionally, on Sunday 26th January 2020, 15 members of the club travelled to the Copper Box Arena in Stratford to watch England Netball Team compete in the Vitality Nations Cup. Unfortunately England didn't make the final, but our group managed to witness the 3rd place play off and the final of this cup. The first match was between England and South Africa, where England managed to steal the win, 65-63. The second match was between New Zealand and Jamaica, where New Zealand held on their title by winning 67-56. Everyone who went really enjoyed the experience, especially as it was a first time seeing the England Netball Team play for a couple of our members!
